Bantam Posters

Like all other companies, paperback publishers tried many gimmicks to increase sales, including several incidences of periodical ads for individual books. Here are eight pictures of full-size posters, contributed by collector Tom Daniels of Springfield, Missouri, touting Bantam offerings. Tom owns the poster for Station West, and obtained the other pictures from a dealer. Tom's poster measures 22 X 28 inches. AND ... that's exactly what my poster measures, which is the last one of the group. I picked it up at The Curious Book Shop in East Lansing, MI in 2012.
